Virtual Laundry Day - In Celebration of Charlotte Pride Week!

We all have a story to tell.

On Sunday, August 2nd from 4-4:45 pm, women* are invited to be a part of the narrative, make their story visible, and connect with others at a Virtual Laundry Day Workshop with local artist and creator of Airing Out the "Dirty" Laundry, Andrea Downs and in celebration of and connection with Charlotte Pride Week!

*Airing Out the “Dirty” Laundry holds space for all women across the intersections of race, age, color, disability, faith, religion, ancestry, national origin, citizenship, social class, economic class, ethnicity, gender identity and gender expression.

Airing Out the “Dirty” Laundry is an ongoing community art movement that responds to the silencing of women, creating Laundry Day opportunities for all women to share experiences of strength, unity, hope and resistance of oppression, injustice, and exclusion through visual storytelling.
